Store Policies
We ask that you PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS FOR DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER(S). Some products/items are shipped directly from our supplier(s) and do require additional ship times to the above. We do however, reserve the right to cancel a transaction and refund our customer if item(s) become unavailable or are discontinued by the manufacturer(s).
ORDER CANCELLATION
Once an order has been entered into our system we process that order immediately and therefore are unable to either accept changes to or cancellations of order(s) from our customers.
SHIPPING POLICY
We ship via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Tracking information is sent to customer via email. We do not offer expedited or overnight shipping. PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT SHIP TO PO BOXES.
RETURN POLICY
We are very proud of the quality products we offer to our customers and we do want you to be happy with your purchase(s). We make every effort to describe each item as accurately as possible. We do want you to keep in mind that color photo images vary due to monitor settings so we cannot guarantee that the actual color of the item will be the same as shown on your computer monitor.
RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED under the following circumstances and ONLY with our PRIOR APPROVAL: (Please send return requests to sales@thehomecraftcottage.com within FIVE (5) days of receipt of merchandise)
1. You received an item other than what you ordered due to our mistake. We will pay for you to ship that item back to us and we will send the correct item to you if that item is still available otherwise we will offer an exchange option or a full refund.
2. You received an item that was damaged in shipment (we need to be notified via email to sales@thehomecraftcottage.com within 48 hours of receipt of the damaged merchandise). In this event we will either offer you a replacement of the item(s) if we have one available or a full refund including shipping.
If you wish to return an item for ANY OTHER REASON than stated above you may do so by requesting prior return approval via email to sales@thehomecraftcottage.com within FIVE (5) days of your receipt of said merchandise. NO REFUNDS will be given unless prior approval is obtained. All prior approved returns must be returned to us within TEN (10) days. Product(s) that are returned MUST be in their original condition and packaging. Please re-pack your item(s) carefully as refunds WILL NOT BE GIVEN on returned merchandise that has apparently been opened, tampered with, used or laundered OR merchandise received damaged in shipment due to poor packaging.
The original shipping cost and return shipping cost is the sole responsibility of the customer and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Also, we do charge a 25% re-stocking fee on merchandise that has been returned EXCEPT on merchandise you received damaged in transit or merchandise you received that you did not order.
